The Top Three Login Troubles
What's my username?
Your username is probably your email address—if you have registered or are already a Committee member. Our default practice is to make your username be the same as your email address. You can use your email address to request that we send you your username and login information.
I don’t know any of my login information.
Your best bet is to register for the website. We’ll set up a new online account for you. If you are a Member and we recognize your email address, we’ll link that account to your membership. If we don’t succeed, then we’ll try to match it up using address information (which may take a day or two as it requires a live person). You can use your email address to request that we send you your username and login information.
I’m a Committee member but I can’t log in.
We want to make it work! Have you registered for the website yet? That’s the first step. If you are a Member and we recognize your email address, we’ll link that account to your membership. I'm already a Mono Lake Committee member. What do I do?

If we know your email address then you already have an online account established. You should have received an email from us at some point with all the details, but you can use the form above to receive another one.
If we don't know your email address (or have it recorded incorrectly) then you should go ahead and register a new online account. We'll match it up with your membership record afterward; just be sure to include your mailing address data when you register.
Actually, I can log in. But I’m a Member and the website doesn’t agree.
We’re sure you're right! It’s a little tricky to match everyone's online accounts up with their membership information. If we haven’t taken care of you, visit our special help page and we’ll sort it out.
I have a lot of email addresses, which do I use?
For members, it’s best to use the email address associated with your membership. For example, that’d be the one that’s received email from the Mono Lake Committee in the past. That way we can identify you! If that’s easier said than done, please contact us with details at (760) 647-6595 or by sending an inquiry and we’ll sort it out.
Am I a member?
We hope so. When you register on the website we’ll do our best to match your online account up with your membership record. But if the website isn’t recognizing you as a member when it should we’d like to look into it. Please visit our special help page and we’ll sort it out.
My spouse and I are members together; who logs in?
We hope you both will log in, but you have to pick one email address to associate with your membership.
The remember me checkbox—what’s that?
You can check the remember me box to remain logged in even after closing your browser or restarting your computer. This is convenient at home, but it’s not a good security practice on public or shared computers.
Does my Mono Basin Bird Chautauqua login work here?
No, sorry. Logins associated with Chautauqua registration are entirely separate.
